Tir Nan Og

I don’t normally leave reviews, but Mike was extremely hospitable and provided me and my friend with an amazing night at Tir Nan og. I wil definitely be back in the future and would actively recommend people to come here.

It was a very cold and windy evening, we scored a parking spot close to City Hall where we would be sure to many fine dining places to choose from for dinner. We walked in and instantly felt the warmth and inviting atmosphere chose a nice cozy table in the front room. First time guest might admire antiquities and elegantly crafted copper ceiling panels.With rising prices of things these days it’s become a challenge to find a restaurant that will make you feel comfortable satisfy your cravings and get your money’s worth where a business values its customers; Tir Na Nog Pub (beautifully appointed heritage building and popular local landmark Prince George Hotel), is one of those rare establishments that maintains its original reputation offering classic pub fare, generous portions of delicious and well prepared dishes, (many excellent vegetarian options ) our friendly and courteous waiter, Mike, made certain every thing was perfect .Business travellers will be delighted to find a menu that will appeal to every taste and seat every guest comfortably.

This old school Irish pub is a great place to chill. We got the table in the front beside the bar. The bartender was very friendly and funny. He made sure we were comfortable and shared some laughs with us. The food was also good. We got a Mushroom and beef pie and Grilled Cheese with jalapeno and banana peppers. It’s located right in the downtown so you can walk around and have a good time there.

In town for a weekend, our group needed some drinks and came across this place. Were quickly helped and orders taken in a decent time.Our food for the group of six came out all together and in a timely manner.Juicy, savoury, sweet, filling all in the right places.The menu is great and filled with a wide verity of food and drinks. So much so, that we went back after a concert in the square just to take advantage of the drink menu while listening to live music from within the pup.

I only started going here relatively recently, but every time I go I am made to feel welcome, appreciated and I am treated with respect. I have had a plethora of interactions with a couple of the staff members and I honestly feel like going here has made a positive impact on my life.The food is fantastic and the experience is one of a kind. I will be back, and I recommend everyone who reads this to at least go have a drink and a meal.Try the whiskey sour, especially when Mike is in.

The food was divine! Get the fried gouda balls! You will not be disappointed! Great service, had live music as well which was nice (if you like that sort of thing!) Other than parking being a tad difficult in the area, it's worth the visit!

I was recently introduced to the Tir Nan Og by a friend as it's their favourite place to go. They had many good things to say about the Bartender named Mike and I had the pleasure of meeting him the night that we went out.Mike is absolutely phenomenal, he is skilled and full of personality. He makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. I find that most bartenders nowadays don't have the people skills to be working in the field, so to find someone who enjoys their job like he does is refreshing.His service is fast and he's quick to recommend drinks or meals according to your likes, he is genuine and gets to know his customers to give them the best experience and interaction he can offer to them.I've been back a few times since then, depending on the night the atmosphere is relaxing and the food is great!I've made sure to recommend this place to friends and family, especially if Mike is working!Thanks for the awesome service!

We were on our way back to the US and stopped at Kingston. The food and beer were good. Our server was really nice and she was attentive to our needs. It was after 5PM but we were seated right away. We'll surely recommend to friends and family.
